     from conception to construction documents to fabrication in multiple countries

     worldwide, including travel to and on-site work in Ecuador.

   - Use of various software to edit and produce digital graphics, renderings, shop drawings,

     construction documents, and presentations of high quality to be presented to demanding

     clients, such as the U.S. Bureau of Overseas Operations and U.S. Department of State.

 

Studio reCOVER, The Haven, and Thomas Jefferson Area Coalition for the Homeless

with Anselmo Canfora (January 2011 - May 2011)

   - Developed prefabricated transitional housing modules for the homeless of

     Charlottesville, VA.

   - Using both off-site and on-site construction techniques, drafted construction

     documents, plans, sections, digital renderings and physical models to present to

     the client (modules to be built).

    Developed a new window section prototype for use in architecture that

    uses phase change chemical reactions to heat and cool a space without

     electricity

with Rosana Rubio-Hernandez [Fellow from Spain] (January 2010 - May 2010)

   -Worked with experimental chromogenic materials with mechanochromatic

    luminescent properties to treat glass to be used in building design

    -Combined architecture, chemistry, and the scientific method to reevaluate the

      design process
